Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle took home top honours this weekend at the Directors Guild Awards in Hollywood. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto were with him to help celebrate. Freida was also spotted in Little India, southeast of Los Angeles, at a photo shoot the other day. As you can see, she’s ridiculously beautiful. Especially when she’s styled properly.

Both Freida and Dev were also seen at the airport yesterday, presumably heading to London to prep for the BAFTAs next Sunday where Slumdog is expected to kick ass...because there is no backlash in Britain.

There is however much backlash in America. Getting more vociferous every day, arguably politically motivated, impossible to ignore, and drowning out the objective arguments that fairly make sense of both the film’s legitimate shortcomings and its embattled brilliance.

As such, Benjamin Button just might get his way. Or… and this I could live with… Milk sneaks in the side door for the win? Drama!
