Have received emails from many of you asking about my neon pink nail polish and clothes from Monday. The polish is Essie. The shoes are called “Devin Buckle Platform” from L.A.M.B. “Devin Buckle Platform” and the dress is Alexander McQueen. I had just bought both from the Bay Contemporary Department that afternoon. There. Is. A. Sale.
But nothing I wore could compare to what my ma wore. The Squawking Chicken came in a bright, un-missable pink flowered blouse, and the tackiest most amazing purse ever, demanded to have her picture taken at the photo wall, tried to lay down the Chinatown treatment on the folks at Dior for some freebies, and then at the end of the Gossip Session, gave away a feng shui charm in the form of a jade bracelet, sealed in a red envelope taped under a chair. Like the Mighty Opes styles.
As for Cory Monteith, well, he knows what I thought of his pants. Cory is now the ambassador for Virgin United with specific emphasis on youth homelessness. I, as you know, have been a longtime supporter of Covenant House. So when Cory was in Monaco last week shooting a movie he took time out to send along a video message that was played at the event to help explain that in lieu of gift bags, The Society and LaineyGossip donated $6,500 from Smut Soiree to Covenant House. ABSOLUT topped our gift up to $10,000.
But we can do more:
In other words, whatever you gave at the event, and whatever you give after seeing his message, I will personally match up to $5,000. And....
CORY WILL MATCH IT TOO.
Thank you Cory for your challenge.
If you would like to make a one-time donation to Covenant House please follow this link and fill in your information. Please put “Smut Soiree” beside “Special Event” in the “In Tribute” section of the donation form (below the personal info section) so we can keep track of how many donations came courtesy our event and can add it to the match tally. PS…if you’d like to make recurring monthly donations, please follow this link instead.
Thank you so much for your generous support and for helping us do more even as we gossip.
