The last bit of advice for kick-starting 2017 is whatever your goal is, whatever you are trying to accomplish, whatever changes you are trying to make, commit to it 100%. You are the one in control and only you can decide your success. You need to hold yourself accountable and you need to take the responsibility for when things don’t go as planned.

If you’re a busy mom of two and your goal is to make more time for yourself, put your workout clothes on before putting the kids to bed and once the house is quiet, forget the chores, stick in your headphones, turn up the music and do a quick 20 minute circuit in the living room. If you want to have more energy in your day then start out with a healthy breakfast and keep a water bottle nearby at all times. If you want to squeeze in a workout during a busy week, schedule it into your day because if you don’t something will always come up. Whatever your goals are, create the path and stick to it. Know that you will deviate from the path more than once but the sooner this is recognized and the sooner you get back on it the more likely you are to continue moving forward. Failing is not the end of the world but giving up could be.

This year doesn’t have to be the year you finally run that half marathon or those 10 pounds you’ve been trying to lose finally come off. This is just the year where you finally do what you say you are going to do. I’m always just an email away and here to help you accomplish whatever it is you need to accomplish. Let’s make 2017 the best year, together.
