Hayley, I am super new to working out. I've got a good partner and I'm working out about 5-6 days a week. My skin hates me for it. I sweat A LOT, and now I keep breaking out. I have NEVER had back acne or neck acne before, but it is hitting me now. What do you suggest?!? (Besides a good shower, because obviously.)
I hear you! I have suffered from acne in very awkward places my entire life and I've never been able to fix it. Sweating daily at the gym, combined with bacteria and wearing Lycra is the perfect storm for unhappy skin.

If you shower after your workouts (which you should) plus shower before bed (as Lainey says we all must) and shower before work (because we can't go into the office smelling like sleep) that is a lot of irritation to your skin. Combine that with sweat, bacteria and abrasive clothing and body acne is just a given.
Swap the cleanser in your post workout shower as well as your post bed shower for these sponges (they don't need cleanser added to them as they gently cleanse the skin without it) and add cleanser to them in the morning. They are inexpensive (about $12) and will last 1 to 3 months if you take care of them.
