Tidal is still prominent on Instagram – Madonna and Nicki have been particularly vocal. I looked through the photos and noticed something: Nicki with Rihanna, Beyonce with Nicki, Madonna with Rihanna and Nicki, Alicia with Beyonce… but no Beyonce and Rihanna on social media (but there is an official photo from Getty backstage). We know that Beyoncé is disciplined with how much information she releases and doesn't like to blow her load in one shot. We will see photos, just not yet. What's next to promote?
And speaking of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland posted a photo from their gospel performance over the weekend. Notice how it’s Michelle’s night, but they are both looking at Beyonce. Do they have Stockholm Syndrome?
Katie Holmes wearing a boring pink dress. Zac Posen is never my favourite though. Did you read The Hollywood Reporter’s list of the most powerful stylists? Katie’s old Holmes & Yang design partner and stylist, Jeanne Yang, made the list. In my opinion, we have Jeanne to thank for boyfriend jeans – it was wild when Katie first stepped out in them (remember when they would pretend she was wearing Tom’s jeans? As if she’d have to roll them up!). I don’t know who is styling Katie these days but Jeanne works with George Clooney and Christian Bale.
Karl, Cara and Katy and a child/Instagram prop in New York. (Squint hard and it looks like Dakota Johnson is sitting at the table behind them.) The boy is Hudson Kroenig, son of one of Karl’s favourite models, Brad. The NYT did a story on them and it is weirdly fascinating. This is the best part:
