Sophia Bush was in Charleston, SC last Saturday. She and James Lafferty, also of One Tree Hill, hit up a local tapas bar called Chai’s. It’s a popular local hang, $6 for high balls, $4 for a beer, menu items range from $10-$20. In other words, very affordable, pretty casual.

It was a Saturday night. They were sitting at the bar. On a Saturday night.

As you would expect, they were recognised. A few fans approached for a photograph, an autograph. She rolled her eyes at them. She silenced them out super rudely. She did not want anyone sitting immediately around them – at the bar, on a Saturday night – so that she could be afforded the appropriate amount of space deserving of a television star … on The CW!

I can hear One Tree Hill fans foaming at the mouth, readying for an attack.

Celebrities deserve privacy! Who can blame her for wanting to be left alone! For wanting to live a normal life?

Really? Because all the normal people I know actually talk to other normal people. Especially when they go to busy bars on a Saturday night.

When normal people want a cocktail and a quiet conversation, they usually don’t hit up a busy bar on a Saturday night. Just saying.

Here’s a gorgeous Sophia at the airport a couple of days ago not minding at all that the paps are taking her picture. Funny that.
