Before we get into her outfit, some Sandra Oh work news. Her next project was announced this week. Of course, Killing Eve is still happening and season three will premiere soon but she’s also signed on to star in and executive produce a Netflix series called The Chair. Amanda Peet is showrunning the six episode dramedy about the Chair of an English department at a major university. Full Story

Leslie Jones moves on

After five seasons of SNL not really knowing what to do with her, Leslie Jones is moving on and won’t be returning for season 45 next month. During her time on the show, she was nominated for two Emmys and was consistently the best part of Weekend Update, but they never found a way to really integrate her into sketches. Full Story

Yesterday Netflix puts nerds everywhere out of their misery by announcing that Stranger Things will get a second season, due in 2017. The announcement came via video, with what seem to be episode titles for nine new episodes, including “Mad Max”, “The Pollywog”, “The Brain”, and “The Lost Brother”. Full Story

Miley’s been in New York working on that Woody Allen series for Amazon. She was courtside on Saturday at the Knicks game. Let’s talk work sh-t first. They’ve not yet announced a premiere date for the show but it’s very possible it could premiere in the fall. And it just so happens that it was just confirmed that Miley will be a judge on The Voice for the fall season as she and Alicia Keys join Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Full Story

Fargo got shut out at the Golden Globes, but it got some love from the wholly irrelevant Critics’ Choice Awards, where it won four awards, including Best TV Movie/Limited Series, and Best Actress in a TV Movie/Limited Series, for Kirsten Dunst. I’m not even a Kirsten Dunst fan, and I thought she was pretty goddamned brilliant on Fargo. Full Story

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck used to have a show called Project Greenlight, in which they and a panel of filmmakers chose a script and a director and set them loose with a small budget to make a movie. It aired three seasons on Bravo from 2001-2005, and the only movie I remember from it is the hilariously bad horror movie, Feast. Full Story
