Taylor Kitsch came home to Canada on Friday for the Gemini Awards honouring achievements in Canadian television.

About Taylor – here he is all cleaned up, looking slightly bewildered and uncomfortable, and completely unprepared for what’s about to hit him come Spring.

As you know, Taylor plays Gambit in Wolverine due out in May – first official photo of him in character is attached. Early buzz surrounding the hunk heavy feature is that while Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are undoubtedly the hotness, it will be Taylor Kitsch who will break out as the shriek-inducing frenzy-inspiring heartthrob star of 2009, not unlike what Robert Pattinson is experiencing right now and hopefully just the lift that Friday Night Lights needs.
