I posted photos today of Will Ferrell and Luke Wilson Old School in the site intro today and someone yelled at me for not mentioning Timothy Olyphant. Fair enough. Timothy Olyphant was also at the US Open this weekend. And we should be seeing him at TIFF for This Is Where I Leave You. Everyone I know who’s seen it so far says it’s terrific. Like what August: Osage County should have been. Which is encouraging because I can’t say I loved the trailer. But I did LOVE the book, because I love all of Jonathan Tropper’s books.
By the way, for what it’s worth, a few of my colleagues tell me that it’ll be Adam Driver who’ll be the “break out” of this film. Here’s Driver at the Venice Film Festival today.
