Been a while since we caught up with Tom Cruise. He's still working on Mission: Impossible 5. Check him out last night in London.

You know, Edge Of Tomorrow came out at the end of May, not too long ago. To me it feels like a long, long time ago. To me it feels like it’s been a long, long time since we’ve seen Tom Cruise at the movies. That’s probably because I didn’t see the movie. Anyway, by the time M:I5 comes out it’ll be a year and a half between them.

December 25, 2015 is the release date.

You know what opens a week before?

The Force Awakens on December 18, 2015.

Yes, of course, there’s room for more than one movie during holiday season. But a movie like Star Wars

Here’s how I’m thinking it’s going to work for me re: Star Wars. I’ll see the midnight show. Whether or not I like it, I’ll probably go back and see it at least one more time. If I love it, I’ll see it at least 3 times in total. And I’m not even a nerd.

Laura, my producer at The Social, is sitting beside me right now and she still thinks it’s a good move. She goes to the movies every Christmas Day. She thinks M:I5 is counter-programming.
