Tom Hiddleston arrived in LA yesterday from London. He’ll be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight to promote the release of the new Kong: Skull Island trailer. They’ve been teasing footage all week. The highlight here is that we’re going to see King Kong himself, being mad and crushing things, like helicopters:

Skull Island is due in theatres March 10th. Before that, Tom will be attending a few award shows, hopefully. Definitely the Critics Choice Awards on December 11 as it was announced earlier this week that The Night Manager has been nominated for 5 of them, including Best Actor in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series. The Golden Globe nominations will be announced the following day, on December 12. And two days after that the SAG Award nominations will be announced. The goal then is to be at all those events which also works as promo for Skull Island.

March 10th is just two weeks or so after the Oscars. I don’t think Tom’s been to the Oscars. Actors who are opening upcoming blockbusters are often invited to present at the Oscars. And his Skull Island co-star, Brie Larson, is the reigning Best Actress so the movie would have two representatives at the Dolby. What a great ride Tom Hiddleston’s had the last few months, non? Who would he sent a thank you note to?
