I’m kinda tense today. There’s a lot going on. Maybe I’m crusty and seeing this story through a c-nt lens but the new cover and story for US Weekly just sent me into a rage. It’s about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth maybe getting back together. You’ll recall, she was in Australia for New Year’s with him and they were seen making out at a music festival – click here for a refresher.
We’ll start with the cover headline: Liam never gave up on her.
Like she was some kind of loser? Because when they were broken up she went on chart some pretty big tracks on her album and work on some pretty personal causes. Inside, a source tells the magazine that:
“He realizes she was growing up and experimenting, he took a step back and gave her time to do that.”
Oh how lucky for her that he was willing to do her that solid. And by taking a “step back”, are we talking about Prince William here, like Liam’s the Alpha Fame (I just came up with this and narcissistically I love it) in this relationship or is it the “Lesser Hemsworth” as Sarah refers to him? It all just sounds so patronising. Like she had to earn him back.
Anyway, there’s really nothing new here. They’re into each other. That never stopped. They’re taking it slow before making it “official” again.
