So I’m getting pounded by the Brangelunatics for daring to suggest that the Jolie might not be a Pulitzer Prize-winning screenwriter. Also, my comment about “compromised of various ethnicities” meant that I didn’t study in high school. True. I cut class a lot in high school. And even I know that “compromised of various ethnicities” makes no sense, an especially silly typo considering the subject matter. But then again, logic doesn’t apply to Brangelunatics, like it doesn’t apply to fans of Stephenie Meyer. Now there’s a frightening alliance prospect – can you imagine?
Anyway, TIFF announced the confirmed attendee list today and Clint Eastwood was the first name to lead a long, starry line-up of celebrities heading to Toronto in September. Clint’s presence is big. Very big. And Robert Redford. And Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Hilary Swank, Robert De Niro, Clive Owen, Helen Mirren, Natalie Portman, Edward Norton, Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Rampling, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cotillard, Carey Mulligan, Catherine Keener, Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon, Josh Hartnett, Michael Sheen, Ryan Reynolds, Mickey Rourke, Keanu Reeves, Vincent Cassel, Paul Giamatti, Bill Murray, Bob Hoskins, Steve Coogan, Woody Harrelson, Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, Jennifer Connelly, Megan Fox, Uma Thurman, Freida Pinto, Ellen Page, Emma Roberts, James Franco, Ryan Gosling, Javier Bardem, and Jon Hamm...
AND MORE. So many more I just can’t be bothered to cut and paste the press release.
Like Ben Affleck and Blake Lively and ...BILL MURRAY.
Bill Murray at TIFF.
Let’s talk TIFF and gossip and the box office and more. Remember, you can yell and have a hissy if you have to, but stay away from the crazy racial business and we’ll try to get to all your comments.
