Zendaya’s become one of my style darlings. It’s almost always fresh. It’s almost always not-boring. Until last night when she showed up at the Globes in … Marchesa. And she was seated with Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman.
Look, Zendaya did the most she could with it, no doubt. Marchesa is hideous on most people. Marchesa, on Zendaya, was… fine, I guess. Not entirely objectionable but still. But still. There is no way she’s picking that dress if there wasn’t the association. So. WHAT is the association? And do we need to be worried about association? Because I know you know. That in this business it’s never free. And everything comes at a cost. And trade-offs happen all the time.
