Which means that, for now anyway, Coop will be working award season on his own. For some reason, this smells similar to his situation with Renee Zellweger. Just as it was heating up for him, they broke up. Career > Relationships? Or was she tired of dealing with his head. Of course it’s in his head, whether or not he’ll be called among the five actors. If you think Anne Hathaway wants it bad on the women’s side, Bradley Cooper would be your equivalent on the men’s. Given that he’s already emotionally complicated, I don’t know that I would want to be around that either.
He’ll know in a week. Oscar nominations will be announced on January 10 this year, two weeks earlier. The Screen Actors Guild chose Cooper over Joaquin Phoenix and Richard Gere. Will the Academy do the same?
