Abbie Cornish is shooting The Dark Fields in New York. They filmed an action scene today at Wollman Rink. Jacek and I were there in December. It’s a lovely stop in the winter.

As you know, Abbie is done with Ryan Phillippe. Rumour has it, he kept cheating on her. Well of course he did. He kept cheating on Reese Witherspoon too. And he didn’t go to rehab to get that little problem fixed. The problem of course is that he has great taste when it comes to talented women, and can’t handle it when they become more successful than he is.

So Abbie left, and she’s working, and she will continue to work, and he’s getting rejected from Captain America in favour of Chris Evans. This is Ryan Phillippe’s new reality.
