Aishwarya Rai, widely considered the most beautiful woman in the world, last night in New York at the premiere of Pink Panther 2 in which she plays herself: regal and elegant, ridiculously goodlooking, it’s just too bad the movie, well, it’s hardly a surprise, but apparently the movie licks.

That however has nothing to do with whether or not PP2 will do well at the box office. Family entertainment rules these days. And family entertainment is not synonymous with good taste As such, Aishwarya is probably sitting on a major hit.

PS. Was disappointed at Steve Martin on SNL last weekend. You?
