Tonight in London, the premiere of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Can’t decide if I like Anne Hathaway’s dress. Love the colour, love the styling, but maybe the chest is pulled up too high? Not important. I don’t have to like the dress to like the overall look. The overall look is lovely, sultry, sleek, sexy. The lank, not overly coiffed hair works for me. The makeup is amazing.

And then there’s Avril Lavigne. She wrote the title song on the soundtrack. So she showed up in a black gown and diamonds around her neck, and her hair all wide and teased and long, and of course it’s a mess because Avril is a mess, the definition of un-fresh, 14 and 44 all at the same time.
