Finn Wolfhard did a good job for his first time hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend – and he had help, not only in the form of his Stranger Things co-stars Galen Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin but also Jason Momoa popping up in the Heated Rivalry Wizardry sketch (the most viral sketch of the episode, obviously) but also Sabrina Carpenter in the first sketch of the night to revive the Snack Homiez podcast.

Snack Homiez debuted when Sabrina hosted back in October 2025, she was also the musical guest. Lorne Michaels loves her. In the sketch Sabrina plays “Tayson” (the names in this sketch are so correct) and once again she had on the Toronto crew she wore the first time around. We will always love her here for this!

Do the white teen boys really talk like this now? Yes. This is not an exaggeration.

As you can see, A$AP Rocky popped in too, a generous assist for Finn – within the first 10 minutes he had four cameos – and also a brief showcase of his comedic abilities. He’s smooth, he’s always smooth, but adding silly to his smooth is… well… it wasn’t enough for me, I wanted more Rocky throughout the episode, over and above his performances.

Which shouldn’t be a surprise since he’s been picking up so much acting experience. Rocky was in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington, that came out last summer, but he also has a role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, a film that’s being featured during this award season because Rose Byrne is contending for the best actress Oscar. And he is good in both, really good. Particularly in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. I was actually surprised at how natural he is in character, how believable he is with every line of dialogue, and his chemistry with Rose too – like… I felt some things. I think she felt some things, LOL.

So my point is, while this was also Rocky’s first time on SNL, like Sabrina, he could absolutely return for double duty as host and musical guest though probably not anytime soon, considering how long it took him to put out this record…although that might still happen before Rihanna does, LOL.
