Agatha All Along premieres next week on Disney+, which means the cast is out doing the publicity rounds. Yesterday, Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza were both in New York, though making separate appearances. Aubrey was at Howard Stern’s show, and Kathryn was doing the hotel to and fro. Can I just say that I love Aubrey’s white suit? You can always wear white after Labor Day when you make it look that good.
Obviously, we’ve been seeing a lot of Kathryn Hahn in recent months as she prepares to headline her own Marvel thing, and one thing I keep thinking every time I see her is that SHE should release a haircare line. Kathryn Hahn has GREAT hair, and I’m not even talking about the color, because she’s in her 50s, so at this point, she’s getting it colored. No, I’m talking volume, and texture. She has SO MUCH hair, and the PERFECT amount of wave. Her waves can be beachy, they can be crinkly, they can be almost proper curls or almost straight, but they always look thick and luscious. Look through photos of Hahn over the years, and you’ll see she almost always wears her hair down, and that’s because she has great f-cking hair. If Kathryn Hahn wants to sell me shampoo, I would buy it.
I also bring this up as an excuse to link to The Cut’s “honest ballot” for celebrity beauty brands. Did you see this?
Honestly, I don’t know where to start with the best quotes. On Brad Pitt: “He doesn’t even have good skin.” Or Scarlett Johansson: “The meetings with Scarlett were not enjoyable at all.” (To be fair, that comment is about ScarJo herself, not her beauty brand, The Outset, which actually gets a nice review from the anonymous editor. I tried the three-step sample kit from The Outset. It was fine. It definitely worked as advertised, but you can find comparable products for less than half the price.) Or the quote about Blake Lively and Blake Brown: “Blake Lively’s time to do a hair line was roughly ten years ago.”
Kathryn Hahn, however, has never been more famous than she is right now. The time for Hahn haircare is now!
