At last count, the earthquake in Haiti on Saturday has resulted in 1,297 deaths and 5,700 people injured. So many homes have been destroyed. Hospitals are damaged. And about 600,000 people are in need of food, water, and shelter. There’s apparently another storm on the way. All this on top of the political unrest in the country.
I have made a donation to help. Please, if you would like to help too, visit the Humanitarian Coalition to make a gift in support of emergency supplies and other life-saving assistance and/or to find out more about the efforts.
