The NAACP Awards were also affected by the Los Angeles wildfires as they too cancelled their plans for announcing the nominations in favour of a press release. The Piano Lesson is leading with 14 nominations and Ayo Edebiri and Keke Palmer have four nominations each! (Essence)
Jennifer Coolidge has a signature way of speaking… and we are all obsessed with it. But she doesn’t always speak that way as it is, of course, part of the performance of her persona. And she isn’t always “on”. Or, rather, sometimes when she’s “on”, she’ll switch over to another voice. (Pajiba)
Um, did anyone come out of Beyoncé’s Christmas show thinking… HELLO Post Malone? I never, ever, ever, ever in my life would have imagined that, like, I would consider it. That’s basically change for Postie that he definitely won’t miss. But, still, it made a change in her life, and that’s what matters. (Hollywood Unlocked)
Pamela Anderson is now a Screen Actors Guild Award nominee. And she continues to campaign – out for press all over the place this week, fresh off her appearance at the Golden Globes and juuuuust as Oscar nomination voting is underway, the timing could not be better. Jennifer Aniston is here to tell you that “no pain, no gain” when it comes to fitness isn’t entirely true. Walking, for example, is great exercise. Maybe not at the pace of our younger dog, Elvis, who is such a slug and lazy AF. But walking at a moderate pace – if you are able to – is really underrated. That said, I like to get my heartrate up at least a few minutes a day. Not long, but where I’m definitely breathing harder, I’ve found that this can be enough. So… maybe just… gain on short pain? Doesn’t sound as good but it works. (Celebitchy)
