Women’s college basketball is the biggest thing in sports right now. The ratings are bananas, the ticket prices are surging, the hype is real.
And here’s a Canadian connection: Gonzaga’s Yvonne Ejim has just been named the Becky Hammon Player of the Year! And then there’s Angel Reese… in Vogue! She looks amazing, I love that she’s wearing Wales Bonner in one of the shots, and I love even more that she chose to make her announcement through a fashion shoot. (Vogue)
This is a gorgeous dress on Selena Gomez and I wish we could see it from more angles. I love the neckline, it looks like it’s all bows, a timeless silhouette. This is stylish now and it’ll be stylish in 25 years. Also, while I almost never really notice jewellery, those two rings are exquisite and I wonder if they match her earrings. Once again, big ups to her stylist, Erin Walsh, because seriously, ever since Selena started working with her it’s been such an upgrade. (GoFugYourself)
I am all in on Danny McBride’s movie theatre idea and if he needs investors (he doesn’t) I would take out a loan and buy into Green Screen – which is not offering alcohol at the movies but cannabis instead. As long as there are snacks! Because if I’m watching a movie with my weed I’m also going to need a healthy supply of popcorn, chips, Pocky, chocolate, and sour keys. (Pajiba)
Andrew Garfield is apparently dating a “luxury witch” and if I were a costume designer putting together the wardrobe for a character described as a “luxury witch” for a film or a series, this is exactly the outfit. (Celebitchy)
I have interviewed Lil Yachty exactly once, and I will never forget it. Because he made me laugh, walking up to me, I’m about to ask the first question, and he’s like, “You have great breath, can I have some of your gum?” That took up most the interview (it was on a red carpet), he kept asking me for gum and talking about my breath until I gave him the gum. Anyway, my point is, he’s hilarious, and that’s why a lot of us were laughing again last week when a video of him went viral where he’s talking about why so many rappers are angry: because, in his words, they’re “ugly as f-ck”, LOOOOLLLL. Here’s Uproxx’s new interview with him – and yes, they ask him about that comment.(Uproxx)
