Bella Hadid and Linda Evangelista made the Saint Laurent presentation at Paris Fashion Week a big deal

The big show last night to close Paris Fashion Week was Saint Laurent, and the person who closed the show was Bella Hadid, in a blue/purple lace dress with wide shoulders, an unmistakable and super chic nod to Yves Saint Laurent himself and his signature suit.

Bella’s kept a much lower profile over the last two to three years so her return, also at Saint Laurent, last fall generated a lot of attention. And it was definitely a story yesterday seeing her at the end of the presentation.

That said, for old bitches like me, it was the presence of an OG model that was most exciting. An original super, Linda Evangelista, was also there and looking amaaaaaaaazing. This is a great suit on her, and of course a classic YSL silhouette, extending her long standing relationship with the house since she would have walked for Saint Laurent himself back in the glory days and was the face of Opium, one of the defining fragrances of the 80s and early 90s. I used to drench myself in it, LOL.

Linda recently covered Perfect Magazine and if you haven’t seen this, get ready for the nostalgia to hit you hard. That bob, those bangs, it’s her signature 90s bob… all these years later. If you told me Steven Meisel took this photo, I would believe you.
