It doesn’t work nearly as well as “Batfleck’s back, alright!” the way Sarah did it in her previous post about Ben Affleck becoming Batman again but I wanted to keep the Backstreet going, ha. While Sarah’s musing about Ben putting on the batsuit again, I’m over here with the gossip. Ben and Ana de Armas gave the paps a double set of photos yesterday, just in time for the weekend.
First they went to a hat shoppe and PDA-ed at the counter:

The paps also were able to get pictures of Ana with Ben’s daughter Seraphina while out with the dogs. At one point yesterday, Jennifer Garner was photographed in Brentwood checking up on the construction of what’s apparently her new home. So, presumably, Ben and Ana were with the kids while she was out, another sign that even though the last few months have been tumultuous and uncertain, for everyone in general, they’ve perhaps managed to establish another level of peace and closeness as new people have come into their circle. Which can’t be easy to navigate, celebrity or not.
Some of you, I’m sure, are personally familiar with these kinds of situations, or you know someone who’s been through it, is going through it. This is a delicate balancing act, requiring healthy, open communication and trust and forgiveness and grace and also space. I know it’s not always possible. Of course everyone’s circumstance is unique. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck appear to be making it work.
