I don’t know where she’s going but Blake Lively is clearly ready for fall. Like, sure, fashion doesn’t necessarily have to be seasonal anymore but certain fabrics are. And a velvet pantsuit, to me, is fall. I wouldn’t want to wear it in the summer, would you? And Blake’s is a DOUBLE velvet blazer! Or maybe she’s making it summer by not wearing anything underneath?
I want to know how this double blazer works. Because velvet isn’t a layering fabric. It’s hard to layer velvet on velvet when it’s thick. Hers looks thick. So what’s happening here? Is it built-in? Like the bottom layer is a vest? Has to be. The green layer of velvet underneath cannot have sleeves. No way. It’s only doubled up around the body down the torso. Great idea. I LOVE it.
