Brad Pitt is in New York, ahead of the Apple TV+ release of Wolfs, his new film with George Clooney that received aggressively medium reviews coming out of Venice. That premiere is happening soon and these days, since he and Ines de Ramon have hard launched their relationship, she is with him often, she is with him in all the new pap shots.

These are the ones I have access to through our agencies, the ones of Brad in his yellow suit. There are also photos of him in a white shirt, unbuttoned down to his chest, over a pair of red print baggy pants that you can see here at PEOPLE, scroll down. What’s funny, at least to me, is that when I first looked at these images, the screen on my laptop had landed on the page where their heads were cut off and you could only see from neck down. So, for a moment, I thought Brad was Travis Kelce, LOLOLOLOL. Because, well, Travis Kelce would totally wear these clothes.

Is Brad Pitt taking style tips from Travis Kelce?

You know how kids, when they’re younger, are often embarrassed by their parents? A couple of weeks ago, a video went viral on social media of a dad using Gen Z slang while ordering at McDonald’s drive-thru with his teen girls in the backseat who were f-cking mortified. And that was the comedy. This is a father who understands that, right now, at this stage of their lives, teens are embarrassed by everything and parents are the biggest embarrassment to their children. No parent is immune to this. Not even Barack Obama when he was president, one of my favourite memories is when he was pardoning a turkey at Thanksgiving while Malia and Sasha stood off to the side, watching in contempt.

Back to the dad at McDonald’s, if you haven’t seen it, enjoy:

All my parent friends were passing this around and dying. I thought about this when I saw these pictures of Brad. About his children with whom he has not been seen since 2016; three of those children have made it clear, publicly, that they do not want his last name. Those kids have many much more serious reasons to not want to associate with their father. But I also wonder whether or not they’re also cringing at the sight of him, with his girlfriend half his age, dressed like Travis Kelce. And if he’s the kind of father, as invisible as he is in their lives, who would actually unironically roll up to the party like he’s sigma and ready to hit the griddy.
