Cameron Diaz turns 40 on Thursday. Her friend Gwyneth Paltrow goes 40 in a month. What would a G-Cammie co-40 birthday party look like? I want to go. I want to go very badly to an event that may only exist in my imagination.

Anyway, here’s Cam in New York yesterday after a session with her personal trainer. She is healthy and fit, her career is solid, she’s about to turn 40, and right now she’s not loving a douchebag - no ARod, no Diddy, no problem. Great. Really great. It’s a great way to start a new decade.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Cam and Jake Gyllenhaal. Gwyneth should be trying harder at it. He’s in New York right now too. Yesterday it was an appearance at Letterman.
