It’s Paris Fashion Week, so it’s not surprising that Leonardo DiCaprio is there, whether he’s single or not. Because when he is single he shows up for the models and when he’s not single it’s because he’s dating a model. We all know, we’ve known for decades now, that Leo loves models.

But you know who he loves just as much as models? Billionaires. This man is around billionaires as much as he is around models. Roman Abramovich, Vivi Nevo, Nicolas Berggruen – The Hollywood Reporter actually did a whole article about Leo’s (sometimes sketchy) billionaire playgroup a few years ago. That was back in 2016 so there are new names on the list now, but the point is billionaires are as constant in his life as models.

And this was the criticism of him when he showed up as a guest to the crass spectacle of what Maria calls the Bozos Bezos wedding. The question at the heart of the criticism: can you truly be both an ally to billionaires and an ally to the environment? Not that he gives a f-ck.

Here’s Leo at Lauren Sánchez’s party last night with his mask on because he doesn’t want to be photographed, doesn’t want you to see his face, doesn’t want the attention, while attending an event put on by a person who is the thirstiest for all the attention. So, basically, Leo loves billionaires more than he hates paparazzi.

As for Lauren, she was back in Dolce & Gabbana – red leather instead of wedding white this time, and I’m going to bring back an expression I used during the early days of this site to describe her look: it’s a tit shelf. The tit shelf aesthetic dominated the 2000s and early 2010s, breasts up and out, high and hard, like practically parallel to the chin, so high and so hard that you could use them as a shelf. Lauren wasn’t famous enough back then to be able to join in on the fun; I guess she’s making up for it now.
