THESE F-CKING PANTS.
I’m already alive today because I’ll be in Beyoncé’s presence in just a few hours but these pants are jacking me up even more.
The colour of that leather is perfect. The buttery texture is perfect too. And the fit here is my whole sh-t right now: high waisted, generous through the hips, tapering to the ankle. That’s why Carey Mulligan is modelling the ideal tuck. It’s hard to create a good tuck on a lower rise pant without leaving to much material inside the waistband or pulling out too much it ruins the silhouette. You don’t have to worry about that as much on a higher waist. Because the pants sit higher up so that you have more proportional real estate to work with.
Why did we stop wearing pants like this? We had it in the 80s and we quit them. Why were we so stupid?
