In Monte Carlo at the opening of the 50th Annual TV Festival, here are the stars of The Vampire Diaries on the red carpet yesterday. Many of you write very often for more pictures and gossip from the show. Am trying though I confess I have never watched it. I am however very, very happy to see that Nina’s part of a project that’s doing so well. Nina of course is from Degrassi, just like Drake and Shenae Grimes and now she’s a big huge deal on a US tv show and walking red carpets in the French Riviera and landing movies with Samuel L Jackson. Trippy.

Most of your messages re: Vampire Diaries however are focused on Ian Somerhalder. Because... of his hair? What is happening with this hair? So much.

Like the fact that it’s two years too late. Chace Crawford and Zac Efron circa 2008. We laughed at them for it then, it’s even more embarrassing for Ian now. And of course what hair like this means: vanity. Extra lots of hard vanity. Is that sh-t integral to the plot? Otherwise, really, what’s the excuse?

PS. Degrassi Takes Manhattan premieres on July 16th on MuchMusic and Teen Nick. The tweens have been fluttering about it for months. And there’s a tiny, tiny, tiny blink and you’ll miss it cameo featuring... me.
