Granny Freeze Nicole Kidman should be taking a pregnancy page out of fellow Aussie Cate’s expectant couture. This is Dries Van Noten and it is exquisite. You should have seen the embroidery on the skirt – it was like something out of Versailles circa Louis XIV. Ridiculous.

And she is HUGE. SO pregnant. Too pregnant to fly back to Australia to give birth. Then again, that’s what private jets are for.

Cute Cate moment – she said earlier that she thought the performance of the year belonged to Marion Cotillard. And when she saw Marion ahead of her on the carpet, she moved that huge bump in a hurry and hustled her way past reporters to make sure she could stop Marion and wish her well.

Ever the elegant lady, even moving at quick speed, Cate and Marion hugged and did a hand squeeze. Marion looked like she had just been blessed. And she probably was.
