The connection between the Dior show in Paris today and Bennifer is Jennifer Garner. In my post yesterday about all the celebrities at PFW I mentioned that seeing Jennifer Garner in Paris was a surprise, and wondered what house had invited her, also noting that JLo was at Dior in the summer.
Turns out that JGarner was indeed at Dior today in one of the more, um, boring looks that we saw from the guest list. Sorry. But, like, there’s not much to say about this fit…
Although I did enjoy this moment between Jennifer and Jisoo.

We’ll get back to Jisoo in a minute.
Unfortunately my Gossip Genie wish for a Garner-Lopez fashion show joint appearance did not come true because JLo was back in LA yesterday and was seen at her office for a meeting with Ben Affleck and renowned divorce attorney Laura Wasser presumably working out the terms of their divorce. So they’re clearly moving ahead with it, despite whatever that was at that family gathering last week, and we all know the way JLo operates – when she’s done, she’s done.
Let’s get back to Dior and, perhaps, another Ben Affleck connection if we’re going all the way back to Gone Girl, and by far the biggest c-nt at the show, which we mean in the best way possible: Rosamund Pike wearing an extremely Rosamund Pike dress. We LOVE.
And we definitely love that she paired it with biker boots.
Look at the details – from the collar to the belt and the mini belt bag… it’s SO good, and so not Dior, right? Or at least not we usually get from Dior?
You know who’s associated with Dior that I’m increasingly not feeling? Anya Taylor-Joy.
I hate this. I hate the dip in the top, I hate this skirt, I hate that it’s banking on the sheerness to bring the pop factor which, frankly, is tired and boring and I hate that it’s doing her such a disservice because we know she can light it up when she’s given the opportunity. But instead it’s giving Margot Robbie and Chanel – a bust.
Natalie Portman and Dior, however, has been a much more successful partnership over the years. And I’m super into the choice for her at this show, a KILLER Victorian bomber over a great skirt that reads more Saint Laurent than it does Dior and riding boots. She looks like she’s feeling herself too.
And finally, back to Jisoo, in shorts with a long fringe belt and strap shoulders that seem to have been ripped right from K-pop styling. Really nice detail too with the boots and that stripe up the side.
For me, though, it’s seeing her in such a clean, slick pony, one of the highest degrees of difficulty to style. Whoever did her hair totally nailed it.
