OF COURSE Lenny Kravitz is doing... whatever this move is called… in leather pants and a mesh shirt. And sunglasses! That would be the most uncomfortable part.

His commitment to slaying is strong.

I would LOVE to talk Housewives with Christina Applegate and guide her through losing one of her favourite Housewives. Watch the show long enough and it will happen eventually.

Oliver Hudson had Robyn Lively on his podcast about sibling relationships and blabbed about cheating on his wife. I’m not here to clutch my pearls because that’s between him and his wife. Cheating is a punishable-by-death mistake on Reddit and TikTok but I’m not concerned with the morality of it in this scenario – I don’t know these people. What’s interesting is the celebrity angle and how his off-the-cuff comment will now be part of a discourse. Maybe his wife is cool with it and maybe she’s not, but this is out there now because he put it out there. He has complete control over his podcast and presumably the editing. The only one who can decide its insensitive to his wife is his wife, and we don’t know how she feels. It does feel a little icky from the outside looking in.

Jessica Alba is stepping away from The Honest Company as CCO but will remain on the board. She has seen it through many transitions, explosive growth, a shaky retail economy and some notable missteps. Under her leadership, it became a household name and a product line that has inspired many imitators. She changed the celebrity CEO landscape while raising three kids and continuing to work as an actress. It’s definitely a massive accomplishment and she’s only 42.

Maybe she wants to launch and grow a new company or double-up her focus on acting or change her family structure. She hustled really, really hard for Honest so for her to step away, she must feel like it’s in good hands.

Have you been following the chili crunch wars? I have because I’m a big chili crunch person and have been partial to Momofuku. But there’s so much wrapped into this trademark issue – who owns a condiment? Who decides what we call what we eat? Pretty interesting stuff and celebrity chef David Chang is at the center of the conversation.

From Lainey…

I’m going to add to Maria’s comments here about chili or chile crunch, whatever you want to call it because I cannot let that comment about being partial to Momofuku’s stand without being challenged. WHAT?! In my opinion, Momofuku’s is quite pedestrian and if it’s between Momofuku and the OG Lao Gan Ma, it’s gonna be Lao Gan Ma all the time. If it doesn’t have Chinese writing on the jar, I don’t want it! Lao Gan Ma, by the way, stands for “old godmother” and I bring this up because, well, the best chili crisp, like with so many things, is homemade. If you come from a Chinese background, you know this. My ma’s chili crisp, back in the day before she got sick and could eat spicy food, was world f-cking class.
