The Office is one of those shows that bubbles up in popularity on social media. Rolling Stone has a new oral history of The Dinner Party, which absolutely deserves its own deep dive. So much happened, but two things stuck out to me: Jan braising the meat (“You know Pam, in Spain, they often don't even start eating until midnight”) and the song by Jan’s assistant, Hunter, That One Night.

There were reports that Leonardo DiCaprio was in Tokyo with his girlfriend, Camila Morrone. She obviously left Leo off her social. But one of his friends and an OG member of the Wolf Pack (née Pussy Posse), Vincent Laresca also happened to be in Japan. This can’t possibly be a coincidence. Leo doesn’t go anywhere without his boys. The Alpha Wolf is back in LA now, having lunch with Jane Goodall and Moby. Perhaps he could have taken his backwards baseball cap off, just this once?

Zayn wiped his Instagram feed and posted a preview clip of what looks like a trailer for his new album (words like “power greed seduction flash on the screen), but there’s no music. He’s done this type of dramatic acting before in the Dusk Till Dawn video. That wasn’t subtle, and it doesn’t look like this will be, either. For whatever reasons, pop stars are people always on the run from some shady criminal element that carries all their cash in briefcases (have gangsters never heard of wire transfers?).

When Nicki Minaj says she saw someone eating something that she wanted, I’m going to guess she saw it on Instagram stories or Snapchat. Then she told that person to bring her an order of the same thing, and the person misunderstood or forgot. How long do you think Nicki will stay annoyed with him or her? A missed food order is probably worth 3 days of silence. 

Paris Hilton continues to try to creep her way back into relevance. She was at the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards, where stylist Jamie Mizrahi received an award. Jamie is friends with Nicole Richie, who was also at the show – Paris and Nicole were photographed saying hello, which will prompt some nostalgia pieces. At the peak of her fame, Paris was clubbing every single night, always photographed going in and out of the club, dancing on tables. That won’t work for her anymore because our taste for gossip has changed. Putting herself into rooms with people like Chrissy Teigen and Paris Jackson is part of a larger strategy because exclusivity is no longer a club or restaurant, it’s the people you surround yourself with.
