Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are going to trial over the financial portion of their divorce. I had no idea they were still legally married considering they are both engaged and she has a child (and another on the way) with her fiancé.
Clearly they both have moved on from the marriage but the Magic Mike assets have been a sticking point, and for good reason. What started off as a gamble turned into a very lucrative franchise. Before Magic Mike, Channing and Jenna were pretty equal in terms of fame and because they are both dancers, their marriage was a building block for promotion. Here’s what’s interesting from a gossip standpoint: PEOPLE has this story, not TMZ. Usually TMZ is usually first with the legal stories and a quick Google search tells me they did cover this issue way back in 2021 (that’s how long they’ve been tussling over this money). And more to that, months later sources went to TMZ to refute Jenna’s claims that she was “without a partner” when their daughter was an infant.
The Jenna and Channing story reminded me to check on another divorce, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas – in March, Sophie’s team requested the divorce be reactivated (Joe’s team said this is a legal formality and that hasn’t been disputed).
While it makes its way through the system, there’s been no more leaks about her working too much (or whatever picture they were trying to paint), really no shots from either side. A good thing when small children are involved, particularly because they are dealing with a huge custody issue between UK and the US.
Watching adults be weird about JoJo Siwa is so annoying! We have been through this before, many times. She is 20. Who isn’t annoying at 20? Who doesn’t think they invented being gay at 20? This is totally normal behaviour from someone who has been marketed like a glitter bomb since she was a child. Leave JoJo alone.
Eva Longoria is joining Siete Foods as an investor and brand advisor. Eva has several businesses she’s part of – tequila, a media group, two soccer clubs and a paddle ball team. There’s a lot of diversity in investment and she did try fashion years ago but, besides being a spokesperson, has not launched her own skin or haircare brand. This seems like a smart strategy because so many beauty and wellness markets are oversaturated. And food, booze and sports seem fun.
Is this considered a soft launch? I don’t even know anymore but I think by the time this movie finally premieres, they will walk the red carpet together.
