Lucy Liu has signed onto the Shazam! sequel as a villain, alongside Helen Mirren. Obviously she will make an excellent villian and Shazam! is overdue for a sequel – no it’s not dark and mysterious and tortured, but it was an enjoyable superhero movie. The casting announcement dropped at the same time as this Women’s Health Cover, excellent timing.

 

Do you consider Cindy Crawford a skin care authority? She’s been the face of Meaningful Beauty for over a decade but I don’t necessarily associate her with that specific brand, even though it’s built around her and I remember the infomercials talking about extracting the secret ingredient from a melon. I swear this is true. She was an early adopter with the celebrity skin care line.

 

In celebrity real estate news, Madonna has purchased The Weeknd’s mansion near Calabasas. This is interesting to me as Madonna is someone who is not associated with LA (she and Guy Ritchie did own a home in Beverly Hills while they were married). She is associated with New York and London, and most recently, Portugal, where the family relocated so David could play soccer. There’s also been some Miami in the mix, a place I could see her returning to. But putting down close to $20 million in LA means that it will be a large family home, presumably one where she will spend a lot of time with her six children. Twins Stelle and Estere, Mercy and David are still in school and that would weigh heavily in the decision. 

 

Jada Pinkett-Smith does look so pretty in peach (not an easy colour to pull off). And her beat is impeccable. With mask wearing, I think brows are going to dominate the next wave of makeup trends. Lip kits are going to be replaced with brow kits.
