You know what you don’t see much anymore? Paparazzi shots of celebrities smoking. Most will try to hide it so I wonder if Salma knew she was being shot or if it was too late.

Vogue posted a new video of “Life in Looks” with Lindsay Lohan. She looks really good and after years and comebacks that stalled and faltered, this could really be her time.

Paula Patton was roasted for how she cooked her fried chicken and putting her seasoning in the oil (she had to turn the comments off on Instagram). I have no comment on her method as I can’t cook fried chicken. But her response to the controversy is very cute and humble, but she sticks to her mom’s recipe. She also mentioned she’s on vacation with her son and posted a photo of him for his birthday, including dad Robin Thicke. When Robin and Paula split it was messy and ugly for a minute and now look at them, all these years later.

Nancy Meyers is making a movie with Netflix! I love this. How big will the kitchen island be? And who is she going to cast??? Richard Lawson at Vanity Fair put together some ideas and I would watch the hell out of every single one of these movies.

In 2021, Jay-Z sold Tidal to Square, which ties into the Carters’ friendship with Jack Dorsey (who co-founded Square and Twitter). The rollout for Tidal was an epic press conference: Madonna, Kanye, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Jack White, Nicki Minaj, Usher – and I’m missing a few names. The Grammys can’t even get all those names. But since that day, there’s been so little on Tidal and what happened next. Is it the artist ownership platform that was envisioned at the launch and if not, why? I would read 10,000 words on what happened, or didn’t happen, with Tidal.

Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly have been off-and-on for a couple of years and last I heard they were back together. But I did see a tip on DeuxMoi (which should always be taken with a huge grain of salt) that they are off and she’s back on Raya. That said, she liked one of his posts just yesterday. So I’m not completely buying the break up story.
