Maria is on holiday so I’m taking over this space this week…

Coming out the Sydney Sweeney situation this weekend – which Stephanie will be posting about tomorrow – Zendaya started trending. And, as usual, it was both funny and ridiculous.

She remains unproblematic and unbothered – and she is currently in Budapest working on Dune 2; Tom Holland is visiting her there and they were seen yesterday riding around on scooters.

Budapest is a Young Hollywood hotspot right now.

My takeaway from all this is that Zendaya has the tea straight from Florence about Olivia Wilde. And she’ll never tell.

Meanwhile, there’s a country music beef that also made headlines this weekend, although this one is a lot less mysterious. Jason Aldean’s wife is an asshole and said some asshole sh-t on Instagram. Asshole sh-t = transphobic. Cassadee Pope wasn’t here for it and neither was Maren Morris. And then another asshole, Candace Owen, jumped in and Maren got the win here.

Brandi Carlile appreciated it:

Last night Harry Styles wore Britney denim at his show but the night before it was pink and sequins and someone threw chicken at him which… this has been happening during tours more and more recently (Lady Gaga experienced it earlier this month) and while I know a chicken nugget isn’t going to do a lot of damage, maybe we should stop throwing sh-t at artists?! Also…shouldn’t a real fan know that he doesn’t eat chicken?

Speaking of real fans though, here’s a real fan…who is also a good drummer. Less chicken nuggets and more of this at concerts.

I guess we’ll just stay with music the whole way through – have you seen Kevin Bacon’s cover of Beyoncé’s “Heated”? Kevin’s joined the Renaissance, like the rest of us. But does this mean he’s made the list? Like the next time there’s an Ivy Park drop, will he be posting an unboxing video?

You know what’s next here – every time I sub in for Maria here I always end on BTS. RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook weren’t at the VMAs but they won the Group of the Year award for the fourth year in a row.

Meanwhile, here in Toronto, if you’re not ARMY and you head to the Eaton Centre this week… be prepared for massive crowds. Because this is happening and they’re expecting people to start lining up the DAY BEFORE.
