Beyoncé has dropped a few photos from CR Fashion Book issue 24 and fans are using it to try to decode her next era. Rock? Grunge?
I don’t guess when it comes to Beyoncé because we don’t know until she wants us to know.
First off, it’s great to see Jamie Foxx back in the world after what seemed like a pretty serious and scary health incidence. Second, I had no idea he was such a pickleball devotee. Third, did you know there’s a very interesting group of people who think Jamie Foxx was not sick but cloned? The thing with this conspiracy theory is that it’s been around for decades with different people, like Paul McCartney and the infamous “Paul is dead” hoax.
I can’t recall ever seeing a “Who Wore It Best” for two men but it totally makes sense it’s these two. I fully expect Travis Kelce to show up in a Deadpool 3 social media skit. Ryan Reynolds is too savvy to not take full advantage of this hype.
Serena Williams is at Paris Fashion Week serving looks (sorry, bad pun). The varsity jacket over the cut-out, body-con black dress for Off White, the white-on-black rose dress for Balmain, the dramatic blue coat for Balenciaga and a mini print dress at Valentino are her highlights. She was also at Victoria Beckham and Hermes - that’s a packed schedule.
Serena has always prioritized fashion, particularly on the court, and launched her own brand in 2022, S by Serena which doesn’t appear to be active online – the site is up, but there’s no shopping option. The challenge for every celebrity brand is not the launch but the maintenance. Without the right licensing partners, so many of these brands seem to quietly fall away.
Lily Gladstone said it’s her dream to host SNL and I don’t know how that hasn’t happened yet. Meteoric rise, Oscar nomination – the talent booker should be all over getting her on as soon as possible. Her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio has never hosted SNL but he has popped up in a monologue (Jonah Hill). If Lily hosts, I could definitely see him making the effort to show up and do a cameo. The gag could be that after Oscar season Leo is still following her around to all of her events.
