The trailer for Life In A Year, a “sick-lit” drama starring Cara Delevingne and Jaden Smith, has dropped. It looks so bad, right? Like really terrible. Cara (who I find to be wooden on screen) is playing a manic-pixie sick girl, evidenced by her changing hair colour. And Jaden is the pro-typical A-type teen destined for a good college… until the manic-pixie sick girl encourages him to rap. I’m not immune to teen tropes (I just finished Dash & Lily, which was squeal-inducing) but there’s a limit to how much earnestness I can handle. Or maybe it’s just me? The trailer is below and it might hit all the right spots for some.

Another thing we might fight about today: Justin Bieber’s pants. I love them.

PEOPLE has run a story about Lori Loughlin’s daughters and how concerned they are that their parents are in prison. Um, yes, I think that’s a given. Obviously they would be upset. A source told PEOPLE, “Lori is resolved to finish her sentence with her head held high.” I don’t know if anyone is that concerned about Lori Loughlin’s self-esteem. But the placement of this story is a clear indication that they are not going quietly, there’s a plan to try to rebuild their reputation. To what end though? Is it to salvage Olivia Jade’s influencer career or get Lori back on Hallmark? Both?

Emo Drake is my favourite.

If you will indulge me in a few minutes of gossip nostalgia, I will try to make it worth your while with this photo (taken at the 1998 Grammy Awards). Gwen Stefani and Courtney Love look friendly but there was so much going on behind the scenes. In a 2010 interview with Howard Stern, Courtney mentioned that she was sleeping with Gavin Rossdale while he was with Gwen, there was overlap. She dropped it in a very casual way, as Courtney does. But many things had happened in the years leading up that: in an interview with Seventeen in 2004, Courtney compared fame to being in high school, with Gwen being a cheerleader. In 2005, Gwen said the cheerleader comment inspired her to write "Hollaback Girl". In 2013, in an interview with ABC, Courtney said that Gwen owed LAMB’s success to Gavin. “He runs the Gwen show, that’s him.” I’m doubtful of that. I don’t think he was running anything but his dick all over town. So what does this photo mean? It could be affection or an olive branch or nothing at all. Courtney’s gone from love to accusations of fraud and back with Edward Norton and hate to love with Dave Grohl. She says anything she wants about anyone she wants, which is what makes her such a captivating personality. There is really and truly only one Courtney Love.

A trailer for The Flight Attendant came out a month ago and it looks really good (like a mix of You and The Girl On the Train) – a cover of "Toxic" really does set the mood for a comedic murder mystery. Kelly Cuoco is working on promo for it now and she’s been with stylist Brad Goreski for a long time, they turn out looks. This one is red on red, blazer over patent pants. It’s a choice and I respect that.
