TMZ is reporting that John Cena married Shay Shariatzadeh (the two met in Vancouver while he was filming Playing with Fire). She is a civilian and after he had a high-profile work relationship, reality show, and drama-filled engagement with Nikki Bella, they both settled down with their next partners (Nikki has a baby and is engaged). It’s interesting that they spent years on the road together as wrestlers and survived it, but split almost as soon as they both stepped out of that world.
Don’t let Lil Nas X fool you into getting quarantine bangs. It doesn’t work out this well for everyone. Trust me.
It’s hard to quantify what makes someone “cool” without sounding ridiculous and out-of-touch, but this right here is exactly why I love Lourdes Leon (who has no time for any of us). The way she has turned away from the spotlight, after being raised by one of the most famous women in the world takes a kind of confidence that is antithetical to social media.
She could easily be a Hadid, a Jenner, a Baldwin...soullessly cashing in on being the child of someone world famous...and yet....she doesn’t....the coolest, hottest girl!!!! Ever!!! Happy birthday!!!!! pic.twitter.com/x9mK1fTMRV— Brian Burns (@brianTburns_) October 14, 2020
Also, I’m a little convinced that Timmy is always a little morose because he peaked in high school when he dated Lourdes.
The finale of a TV series is kind of like a wedding: a lot of time, money, and emotional investment and way-too-high expectations all around. We could build a society on Mars and people there will be debating the black screen from The Sopranos. Dexter, which I didn’t finish, had an ending that left critics and audiences disappointed, but since nothing ever really ends, it will be back for a limited series reboot. Obviously there’s a built-in audience, which is great. But could Showtime not spare a bit of that budget for the delightfully weird On Being a God in Central Florida, which won’t even get a second season?
While we’ve all had our eye on Dominic West looking like the cat that ate the canary, there’s another messy British split happening: Phil Collins and his ex-wife Orianne Cevey broke up — again. The first time they divorced led to one of the biggest settlements in UK history. Now, after living together, things have broken down again and there are allegations flying on both sides. But the money is just one part of it because TMZ is reporting that Orianne married someone in Las Vegas in August. This is some Dynasty-level drama.
This trip to Flavortown took a real left turn.
