Karlie Kloss announced her pregnancy, which isn’t totally unexpected. She also posted a photo in a Biden/Harris mask which, again, not totally unexpected. So, soon, we will know the results of the election and if he is voted out, Ivanka and Jared will have to reingratiate themselves into New York society. Wendi Deng will be there for them but what about their old friends like Diane von Fürstenberg and Barry Diller? Will they help them transition back? There was a thoroughly reported piece about their chance of being welcomed back. Not as dire as outsiders think; as lawyer and author Rich Farley said, “The only unpardonable sin in New York society is poverty.”

 

Vogue is doing a new feature, #7Days7Looks, which is optimistic. How many looks are you wearing a week? My wardrobe has shrunk considerably, I have a very small number of matching sweatsuits in rotation. Basically I dress like Paulie Gualtieri from The Sopranos. But Vogue is about fashion and promoting designers and bolstering the industry – this is how they are trying to do that. 

When does it become Mariah Season? The first day after US Thanksgiving? What are we waiting for?
