Lily Allen and David Harbour got hitched in Vegas (that’s the right word for Vegas – hitched) and I appreciate that they went for it. The Elvis impersonator, the chapel, the post-ceremony burgers – it fits Vegas. And Lily’s cocktail Dior dress with black accessories is timeless and playful, nothing too formal or fussy.
A few people have asked me about Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s baby reveal and I still think they will hold out for PEOPLE (or, alternatively, a Halloween family shot). So far, Jessica is still not giving up any info about the new baby.
Oh I’ve been meaning to talk about Anna Faris and her abrupt departure from Mom. I say “abrupt” because she is mid-contract. Did she have to leave because filming was pushed back (due to COVID) and she’s committed to a new project? Was her team trying to renegotiate for the last season? Did she reassess her work priorities during quarantine and decide against going back? Considering she’s one of the two stars (the other is Allison Janney), this is huge for the show, but producer Chuck Lorre has been here before – he was the producer of Two and a Half Men. Anna released a positive statement about her time on the show, but hasn’t posted anything on social media. Hmmmm.
“Your real daddy’s probably getting his feelings hurt” – someone needs to tell Dr. Phil what “daddy” means. I don’t think those people are thinking of a father figure in the traditional sense.
Some dumbass asked Jennifer Garner if she’s pregnant (sorry, if you are asking a celebrity if they are pregnant in Instagram comments, that is a dumbass move) and she said no, not now and not ever again. How long until a low-tier tabloid tries to tie it into Bradley Cooper?
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s fifth child has arrived (Alec also of course has Ireland) – his name is Eduardo, to go with Leonardo, Carmen, Romeo, and Rafael. That’s a great set of names.
Kind of curious, is Jamie Foxx sweating Katie Holmes’s new fling? Is he sending her an out-of-the-blue “hey u up” text? They were together, off and on, for years and the most we got was some tentative hand holding on the beach. And now she and Emilio are everywhere and not shy about it.
You know what I’ve noticed about the Biebers? When Bieber Fever is high (like it is right now from the “Popstar” video), the comments on Hailey’s Instagram get much meaner, which is probably why she’s limited them here. (This is an absolutely stunning shot from Vogue.)
