In a couple of weeks, Kelly Ripa and her family did more fun, outdoorsy stuff in Vancouver than I will do in a year.

I’m sure it’s normal and probably even healthy for adults to talk openly with their parents about sex, but ewwwwwwwwwwww.

The perfect metaphor for 2017: Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks are collaborating.

Ryan Reynolds at the prom.

Halle’s jean jacket is very bossy. I mean “find true love” is a bit of a tall order.

All of this. Happy 4th of July πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Even Madonna feels chubby sometimes. (I’ve been googling armpit liposuction for 3 days. Have you had it? Does it hurt? Tell me!)

Yesterday, I linked to Lucinda Chambers’s exit interview after being fired from British Vogue. In it, she noted the punishing schedule for designers. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Azzedine Alaïa – he took a 6-year couture hiatus, which ended last night. (The brand does have the usual ready-to-wear shows.) He opts out of a lot of the standard things, including advertising in Vogue and loaning dresses to celebrities, which is why you never see him at the MET Gala. Naomi and Karlie Kloss walked his show last night, but I didn’t see any other of the usual faces (Gigi, Bella, Kendall). That’s more Karl’s style. Which reminded me of a rare Alaïa interview and his thoughts on the Kaiser: “I don’t like his fashion, his spirit, his attitude. It’s too much caricature. Karl Lagerfeld never touched a pair of scissors in his life. That doesn’t mean that he’s not great, but he’s part of another system. He has capacity.” (And Anna? “When I see how she is dressed, I don't believe in her tastes one second.”)
