Julia Louis-Dreyfus and her husband Brad have been married for 30 years, which is a very long time in real life (and an eternity in Hollywood). And it made me think of JLD and how little we actually see or know of her. She’s been on three successful sitcoms (a monster 90s hit, a respectable solo vehicle, and a high-brow HBO darling) and yet… have you ever seen a photo of her coming out of a grocery store? Or a hair salon? Or shopping? She has been in as many living rooms as Kirstie Alley and Jennifer Aniston.

30 years ago today this happened. So far so good.

Today in the intro, Lainey wrote about Roxane Gay’s new book, Hunger. I started it last night. Sounds like Kerry Washington will be reading it this weekend, too.

I really like Erin Andrews’s wedding dress for the simplicity of it. I think so many people get tricked into wedding day bling because they feel their dress won’t be special enough without some ornamental beading or ruching or train, and there are so many lavish options. This is Carolina Herrera – she also did Olivia Palermo’s sweater/skirt combo, which I loved.

Katy Perry, Calvin Harris, Big Sean and Pharrell dropped their video yesterday. I’m sure this is a total coincidence.

Feels video w/ @pharrell @bigsean @katyperry on Vevo/YouTube now 🌴🌴🌴

Last summer, Lainey wrote about the scandal developing around a Malaysian rainforest conservation fund with ties to Hollywood, specifically Leonardo DiCaprio. Since then, it’s been reported that he had to give back the Marlon Brando Oscar gifted to him. And Miranda Kerr is handing over $8.1 million in jewels to the Justice Department. Miranda is all about positive mantras and enlightenment now so she must have meditated on it and decided to give them back. (She’s also rolling in Snapchat dough.)

Did you see yesterday’s post on Gabrielle Union’s incredible style choices this summer? It pains me to say this but Lily Collins will get a Vogue cover before Gabrielle. Anna Wintour has taken to Lily because she is exactly Anna’s type – pedigreed (her father is Phil Collins) with ties to England and very feminine in her red carpet choices. She has been at several MET Galas. Look at this photo of her – it’s Anna Junior.

And speaking of Vogue, where the f-ck is Taraji’s cover? Prestigious films, an iconic TV character, a memoir, style for days… overdue, I’d say. She’s getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year. Who will be at her induction? And what will she wear?

It's been a minute. She's been busy AF!!! πŸ‘€πŸ’‡πŸΎπŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
