These two were tight for years, through Marc Anthony and Casper Smart and Alex Rodriguez and Leah’s split from Scientology, but the friendship noticeably cooled when Bennifer 2.0 launched. Leah was not at the wedding.
According to sources, Leah was wary of Ben as a partner because he’s too selfish and it caused Jennifer to cut her off. But like every gossip story, we need to consider who it serves: if Leah wants to reconcile, why would her people run to Page Six with an “I told you so” story? It doesn’t make sense. And it doesn’t seem like Leah’s style. As Lainey wrote a few weeks ago, it was also Page Six who reported that Ben has “come to his senses”. Every outlet is trying to be first to break something big and the only thing we really know is that 20 years after the first round, these two are still drawing a crowd.
