Holy sh-t it was only two days ago that Lainey was talking about the bumster making a comeback and Katy Perry is going full thong!
Sarah’s Oscar predictions are up and I agree, it’s RDJ’s year. Beyond the film, he is beloved by his colleagues and he has the acting branch vote locked in. In his SAG speech, he thanked Mel Gibson and while Twitter and TikTok were not happy and think the “backlash” will hurt him, it will have zero effect on the outcome. I would take it a step further and say that this endears him to that particular voting body even more.
The Cyrus family saga continues, with conflicting reports on whether or not Miley knew her sister Noah dated her stepdad Dominic before her mom Trish swooped in. And there are two streams of information: PEOPLE and Us Weekly. US had the exclusive and yesterday posted a story that is counter to PEOPLE’s report that Miley didn’t know. US is reporting that Miley did know and they are not backing down.
That means US is not worried about burning a bridge with her team. And maybe they aren’t worried because they have an inside source who is more valuable to them. And that source wants us to know that Miley knew. Mess!
The Mirror is reporting that Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are engaged. The report is coming from The Mirror so, who knows. It wouldn’t be the biggest story considering they have been together for a long time and if it’s not true, it wouldn’t be worth denying as that’s not really their speed. And while I think they both have a great relationship with Gwyneth, I don’t think she’s going around giving her blessing because they are all adults. That’s the part of the story that sounds the most fake.
Jessica Biel wrote a kids book about periods, which is a great idea. The more info on it the better.
The persistent Justin and Hailey Bieber rumours are coming from online sources who don’t have any solid information. It’s a lot of fan commentary and surface level conjecture. When it comes to Hailey, we know where it’s coming from. It’s gone from low-level gossip to borderline harassment. And this is another example of how fandoms drive down the quality of gossip: if an account goes after their favourite, they are horrible/liars/no good/bullies. If that same account goes after their imaginary enemy, then “there’s no smoke without fire” justification. So which is it? Hypocrisy makes for strange alliances.
