We’re a week into the new year and I haven’t mentioned Celine Dion, our Queen of All Feelings, yet and that is a problem because… SO MANY FEELINGS. The Fug Girls are giving us the Celine content today – a throwback from 17 years ago when she was honoured on the Walk of Fame, wearing an outfit that is much, much, much too boring for the Celine of now. Drew Barrymore was stood up by someone she almost went on a date with after meeting on a dating app which seems surprising, I guess, because she’s a Celebrity but also not surprising when you consider, you know, from what I’ve heard anyway, stories from friends about dating apps and attitudes, a lot of people are really just down to f-ck, and if he thought he had a better chance of scoring that night with a non-celebrity, well, he did what he did. A new breed of dog has been recognised… and it has a really great name that will be mispronounced for probably a long time. (Cele|bitchy)

How late night hosts covered the insurrection incited by Donald Trump last night. Of all of these, I’ve only watched Stephen Colbert’s because I appreciate how anger and his empathy and his frustration and impatience and his comedy too. I’m planning to hit play on the rest by the end of the day. (Pajiba)

Alex Trebek’s final Jeopardy episodes are airing this week and I can never get enough of reading about his legacy and why he was so great and this one by Clair McNear for The Ringer will make you cry, like they all probably make you cry. (The Ringer)
