We’re going to try to do several fashion posts today because There Is Fashion. It’s been a dry spell for celebrities and style lately because of the strike so NY Fashion Week is coming at a great time. And bringing out some big names who we haven’t seen much over the last few months.
Like Charlize Theron who was at two events this week and serving pearls for both. First at the Breitling launch on Wednesday (she’s an ambassador), Charlize showed up in Givenchy. It’s a black blazer over a black skirt and she looks great…
…but the main event of this fit is the pearl tank underneath. It’s a f-cking showstopper on her.
As spectacular as she looks though, that’s actually not my favourite of her two looks. And I’m surprised about it because, well, I generally think that Charlize looks better when she’s NOT in Dior. This, however, is Dior. And it is SO GOOD.
An outfit like this is all in the styling, so big ups to her longtime stylist Leslie Fremar for throwing this gorgeous blue slouchy sweater over the loose skirt and then topping it off with that pearl choker. The flat sandals instead of a more formal shoe is also an excellent finishing touch.
